Context
Jesus tells this parable because people are losing heart. He gives them two opposite people: a judge with power and no conscience, and a widow with a real case and no leverage.
In her world, nobody has to take her seriously. She has no name to drop, no bribe to offer, and no protector coming in behind her.
Story
The widow keeps coming back to the same door with the same request: give me justice. The judge ignores her because ignoring people is basically his system.
Then she shows up again. And again. She becomes the one voice he cannot make disappear.
if even a corrupt judge caves to a woman who won't quit, how much more will God answer the people crying out to him day and night?
Jesus is not saying God is like that judge. He flips the comparison: the judge gives in to get rid of her, but God leans toward his people because he loves them.
What We Learn
The widow is not polished or powerful. She has one move, and she makes it over and over.
Prayer is not talking God into caring. It is refusing to walk away from the door.
You do not have to be impressive. Keep showing up.
