Terms of Use
These terms cover your use of Bible BFF, including its AI chat companion. Please read them before using the app.
1. Acceptance
By downloading or using Bible BFF ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please stop using the App.
2. The App
Bible BFF retells Bible stories in modern language, with narrated audio and an AI chat companion. Features, content, and availability may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time.
3. The AI companion
- You're talking to an AI. The companion is artificial intelligence — not a human, pastor, God, or Jesus — and it will always say so.
- It can be wrong. AI replies may be inaccurate or incomplete. They're for encouragement and reflection only, and arenot medical, legal, psychological, or other professional advice.
- It's not an emergency service. If you're in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, please reach out to a human — seeSafety & crisis resources for hotlines in your region, or contact local emergency services.
- Use it respectfully. Don't use the companion to produce unlawful, harmful, hateful, or sexually explicit content, and don't try to bypass its safety features. You can report a concerning reply from within the app, or contact us atdeveloper@loomalabs.ai.
4. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information if account registration is ever required.
- Don't misuse the App, including any unlawful activity, harassment, or infringement of others' rights or intellectual property.
- Don't attempt to bypass technical or payment restrictions, reverse engineer, or interfere with the App.
5. Subscriptions & payments
Bible BFF may offer an auto-renewable subscription for premium features and content. Purchases are processed securely by Apple via your Apple ID.
- Billing & renewal. Payment is charged upon confirmation of purchase or after any free trial. The subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Renewal may be charged within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Free trial. If offered, a free trial converts to a paid subscription unless canceled before it ends. Any unused portion is forfeited when a subscription is purchased.
- Manage or cancel. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings. Removing the app does not cancel your subscription.
- Refunds. Billing and refunds follow Apple's App Store policies; we cannot issue refunds directly.
6. Intellectual property
The App — including its content, code, and trademarks — is owned by Looma Labs Technology Co., Ltd. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
7. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
- The App and its AI replies are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
- To the maximum extent permitted, Looma Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or engage in prohibited conduct. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
9. Governing law & dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The courts of Hong Kong have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, following good-faith negotiations and, where applicable, mediation.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time and will post updates here with a new effective date. Continued use of the App means you accept the updated Terms.
