Bible BFF is an iOS app by Looma Labs that retells real Bible stories in modern, plain language — like your best friend can't wait to tell you what happens next. Every story is anchored to its actual scripture reference, fully narrated, and comes with an AI chat companion to talk it through with. Its full App Store name is "Bible BFF: Stories & Drama". A few other apps use similar names; this site is only about the Looma Labs one — more on the app page.
Is Bible BFF free?
Yes, it's free to start. The app is free to download and you don't need to enter payment details to begin. Every story on this website isfree to read in full, and each story page lets youlisten to the first half of the narration free — no account needed. In the app, a subscription unlocks the complete narrated audio for every story and unlimited chat with your Bible bestie.
How much does Bible BFF cost?
Downloading and starting is free. The complete narrated audio and unlimited bestie chat come with a subscription — the exact price is always shown in the app before you pay, and it can vary by region and plan. Nothing on this website costs anything or requires an account.
How do I cancel a Bible BFF subscription?
Subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple, so you cancel through your Apple account: open Settings on your iPhone, tapyour name, tap Subscriptions, chooseBible BFF, and tap Cancel Subscription. (Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.) Refund requests also go through Apple, atreportaproblem.apple.com.
Is Bible BFF on Android?
Not yet — Bible BFF is currently an iPhone/iPad app (iOS 18 or later). There is no official APK: anything offered as a "Bible BFF apk" download is not from us, so please don't install it. In the meantime, every story is free to read and preview right here on this website from any device.
Where can I listen to Bible BFF — is it on Spotify or Apple Podcasts?
You can listen in three ways: on this website, where every story page plays the first half of the narration free; via the Bible BFFStory Previews podcast feed (biblebff.com/podcast.xml, rolling out to Spotify and Apple Podcasts); and in the app, where a subscription unlocks the complete narration for every story. Is the chat in Bible BFF a real person?
No — it's an AI companion, and it's always upfront about that. It never pretends to be a human, God, a pastor, or a therapist. Are these real Bible stories?
Yes. Every story is a retelling of actual scripture — the reference (like 1 Samuel 25 or John 2) is shown right on the story, and we always encourage reading the original in any Bible translation. The retelling changes the voice, not the events, and it stays denominationally neutral.
Who is Bible BFF for?
Teens and adults — it's designed for ages 13 and up. The stories don't water anything down; they just drop the textbook tone. Whether you grew up with these stories or you're brand new to the Bible, they're written so you can start anywhere.
