Bible BFF retells Bible stories the way your best friend would — because for a lot of us, "just read it" never worked, and shame never helped anyone open a Bible.

What this site is

biblebff.com is the official home of Bible BFF: Stories & Drama, an iOS app by Looma Labs. The stories here are the same original retellings from the app — free to read, with audio previews; the full narration and the companion live in the app. (Heads up: other companies make similarly-named Bible apps. This site is only about ours.)

How the stories are written

Anchored to scripture. Every story names its source passage (book and chapter) right at the top, and we want you to read the original — that's the point. The retelling is the on-ramp, not the replacement.

Retold, not rewritten. We keep the events, the people, and the stakes of the text. What we change is the register: plain language, modern rhythm, the humor and heartbreak that were always in there.

Denomination-neutral. The stories don't argue for any church or tradition, and don't take shots at anyone's — including other faiths or no faith.

Honest about AI. Looma Labs uses modern tools, including AI, in producing and editing content, with human editorial review. The app's chat companion is AI and always says so. Where wellbeing is on the line we defer to humans — see safety & crisis resources.
