Context
Revelation closes the Bible with John old and exiled on Patmos, watching the Roman Empire devour believers. He has every reason to be tired when the vision opens.
Story
John sees New Jerusalem coming down, not people floating away. Before the gold streets become the point, a voice from the throne names the real headline: God is moving in with his people.
He will wipe every tear from their eyes.
The city keeps unfolding: death gone, mourning gone, pain gone, the tree of life back, the river clear as crystal, and gates that never close. The story ends with an old man on a rock writing, "Come, Lord Jesus."
What We Learn
The final page of the Bible does not zoom out to a victory parade. It zooms in to a hand on a face.
Every tear matters. Even the ones no one saw, even the ones you could not explain, are held by the God who promises to come close enough to wipe them away.
🎧 That's the story — now hear it told.
